DEEPER WALK FAITH

I have walked with Jesus Christ and have been a Christian for as long as I can remember. At the age of 14, I formally walked forward and publicly professed my faith in Jesus. I confessed then, as I do now, that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Furthermore, I believe that no one comes to the Father/God except through His Son, Jesus Christ.

As a result of my faith in Jesus, He calls me His friend, and He provides me with a Helper, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives me power and enables me to do the good work He calls me to. If anyone is blessed by or if anything good comes from this blog, know that the glory belongs to the Lord.

My husband, Mike, and I have been married for nearly forty-three years. Together, we have two wonderful sons, the best daughter-in-law ever, and through our marriage, I have a beautiful daughter. Most notably I have four fabulous grandchildren.

​

Professionally you could say I am the dictionary definition of a Jack of all trades. I have been blessed to have several great careers. They have ranged from mortgage banking, financial planning, and insurance to interior designing. I have owned two businesses and for the past 14 years, Mike and I have owned a grocery store.

Throughout my adult Christian life, I have enjoyed serving the Lord in the churches we have attended. My areas of service have included teaching Sunday School, running children’s weekly programs, Vacation Bible schools, and Christmas and Easter plays and programs. I have led women in bible study groups and Mike and I have hosted weekly home fellowship groups.

​

I find joy and satisfaction helping others grow in their faith. In that light,

my intent with this blog is to assist others in developing a deeper walk of faith.
